These are so quick to put together using designer paper. I've used left over scraps from the Season of Style papers that are not obviously Christmassy to carry over into the new year.
To make the cards, I cut a sheet of A4 Whisper White card stock into four pieces, added designer paper to the top and curved the corners with the corner rounder on my envelope board. The sentiment from Regarding Dahlias was stamped onto a thin strip of card stock and pasted onto the designer paper. And that was it - forget minutes, it took seconds!
Since I've been using up the scraps, I think I'll pop over to Pixie's snippet playground with these. I hear they've been having trouble with wind there this week!
Here's what you'll need to make this project
Stamps: Regarding Dahlias
Ink: Early Espresso
Card stock: Whisper White
Other: Season of Style designer paper, Envelope board, stamp-a-majig
but if you have any queries, or prefer to speak to me, I'm always happy to help.
See you tomorrow,
Happy New Year Vicky :)

ReplyDeleteAnother fab idea for batch making thank you cards. xxx
ReplyDeleteFabulous idea Vicky - love the style too. And of course using snippets is like chicken soup for the soul - except they seem to just reappear as fast as they get used!

This is a great idea, especially for kids who don't know what to write. I may used these for little quickie notes to friends. Thanks for the idea. Glad you got a smile out of your daughter. I thought it was funny!
ReplyDeleteI love this idea. I'm going to go make a bunch of these with left over pieces of DSP and give them to my friends and children. There are so many times when you just want to jot down a quick note and send it.
ReplyDeleteYou really do come up with the greatest of ideas and so simple too.
ReplyDeleteLove your little story too.
What a lovely idea Vicky. I remember having to get my children to write thank you notes after birthdays or Christmas. Not easy but nice to have nice stationery to use. I've just had a lovely catch up of all your cards and projects over the last week. Internet's been iffy again and then I was out last night. Good to catch up with you.
