Lovely as a Tree spring card

Oh the excitement! There is a definite spring in my step! Is it because today has been a gloriously sunny day that makes you believe that there really is warmer weather round the corner? Well, yes, partly. But it's also because I am now an INDEPENDENT STAMPIN' UP DEMONSTRATOR!!! I have been using these products for over a year now and (as anyone who knows me will testify) absolutely adore them. So I very much look forward to sharing that enthusiasm with others.

To celebrate, I've made a card which definitely has a spring feel.

To colour the tree image I just daubed ink on with a sponge which has given this soft, chalky feel. The little flowers were just doodled on in a moment of impetuosity!

I used Stampin' Up supplies:
Stamps: Lovely as a Tree
Cardstock: Whisper White, Bashful Blue, Summer Sun
Ink: Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, Chocolate Chip
Other: Designer Paper SU (retired), Ruby Red stampin' write, ribbon (borrowed from friend!)

Thank you for sharing my good news today.
Happy Spring!

Vicky

  1. Congrats on joining the SU! family!! It is a great place to be--I joined exactly a year ago today myself, so I totally understand your excitement! I love this card also--I've had my eye on that set for a while and love what you've done with it.
