This is a card I made for a friend's birthday almost the moment my Hopeful Thoughts stamp set arrived ( I absolutely adore this set!) It's another one of those useful designs that would work for lots of different people and occasions.
Here's how to make this card:
- Cut an A5 card blank using Whisper White card stock.
- Cut a piece of Old Olive card stock 13cm wide x 4cm high. Tear it on the diagonal so that you get an interesting edge. Attach it to the card blank.
- Colour the tree stamp with markers and stamp half on the Old Olive and half on the Whisper White card stock. You may need to touch up the join with a marker.
- Stamp the sentiment using a stamp-a-majig for accuracy.
Supplies
Stamps: Hopeful Thoughts, Occasional Greetings
Ink: Early Espresso
Card stock: Whisper White, Old Olive
Other: Pumpkin Pie, Early Espresso markers
I am very excited today, because in a few hours I'll be on my way to the Stampin' Up convention. I'll be learning so much there that I can pass on to my customers as well as enjoying the company of hundreds of people who share my passion for crafting. Although I won't actually be here, I have prepared a post for tomorrow, so do pop in for that. If you have time, I'd love you to leave a comment for me to read when I get back!
Have a great weekend,
Have lots of fun!!
