I was quite taken with the pattern made with the snowflake image so I thought I'd use it to make a tiny matching gift bag.
It's a really simple 2, 4, 6, 8 bag with a simple ribbon fastening and a tag made by punching the snowflake out with a 1 1/4" punch and matted onto a 1 3/8" circle of Real Red card stock. I think the rhinestone in the centre of the snowflake gives the tag a great finishing touch. Scroll down to the bottom of the post for a template for this bag.
I made the card in a few different blues including this bright and cheerful Tempting Turquoise version:

Don't you just love that little heart from Tiny Tags? I cut it out with paper snips and pierced it with a paper piercer before threading with silver elastic cord and attaching to this vibrant Real Red satin ribbon. It's so easy to make boxes and bags with the scoring blade fitted to my Fiskars trimmer. This box is 5cm square and 4cm high and the lid is 5.1cm square with a 1cm rim.
Well, I'm afraid we really are a house of illness now. All three male members of the family have gone under and my daughter and I are trying to complete the Christmas preparations together because we feel it's only a matter of time before we are struck down too! But, looking on the bright side, the family puzzle is coming along nicely!
