Three Minute Thursday - Welcome Christmas

Good morning! It's Thursday and time for another three minute card here at Crafting Clare's paper moments! I promised you fast Christmas cards - and here are a couple more one layer designs. I was inspired by One Layer Wednesday this week, where the challenge is to make one layer cards with a sentiment as the focus. Come and see:

The card base was sponged in the centre with Bashful Blue ink using circular motions, and round the edges. Using Pear Pizzazz ink, I stamped the wreath off on scrap paper then stamped again onto the card base (although I forgot myself and huffed so it turned out to be more intense than I'd intended!) The beautiful 'Joy' sentiment was then stamped over the top in Real Red, using my stamp-a-majig for accurate position, and I added berries with a Real Red marker.

I made another card with this sentiment as its focus:

For this one, I stamped the 'joy' in Real Red, then masked it off and sponged the rest of the card with Bashful Blue ink.

I do like the effect of scoring a line where the ink meets the plain card stock and those two little notches on the 'o' were crying out to be decorated!

I'll also be entering these cards into the Less is More challenge where they're asking for any CAS cards and aiming for an incredible 1000 entries!

Supplies needed for these cards:
Stamps: Welcome Christmas
Ink: Bashful Blue, Real Red, Pear Pizzazz
Card stock: Whisper White
Other: Real Red marker, Stamp-a-majig, Basic rhinestones
You can buy any of these supplies from me and I can have them delivered to your address in the UK. Just send me an email or give me a call on 01280 820593. Click here to view the Last Chance List - full of stamps and accessories, some at up to 40% off! These items are available only while stocks last - and some have sold out already!

Thank you to everyone who has been sending get well wishes to my son. He's been so much better today and since his recuperation has taken the form of listening to Queen at top volume, I think it's time he returned to school!

I am a little shocked at how fast this week has sped by and some of you will remember that I said I'd show you another version of this little mini album. Well, I haven't forgotten (well, actually, yes I had - but there we are!) and all being well, I'll be revealing it tomorrow. Do pop in to have a look!

Hope to see you then,
