Sale-a-bration 2012 - free stamps today!

It's finally here! Sale-a-bration 2012 - the best promotion of the Stampin' Up year, when you get free stamp sets for every £45 you spend and an extra set worth up to £44.95 if you choose to join Stampin' Up! And there are some fantastic sets to choose from this year, as well as the most gorgeous designer paper pack - scroll down to the bottom of the post to see all the Sale-a-bration freebies.

The wonderful Make My Monday challenge has nature as its theme this month and is asking for 'Flowers and Leaves'  this week. That gives me the chance to show-case my favourite Sale-a-bration set (well so far anyway!) - come and have a look:


The set is Fresh Vintage and I've used Calypso Coral, Island Indigo and Lucky Limeade in this design. I've spotted this colour scheme in some of the clothes shops for spring and I love it!


The set has loads of gorgeous elements in it like the fabulous lacy background stamp and this wonderful postage stamp which is easy to cut out with the coordinating postage stamp punch. That Calypso Coral butterfly is cut with the Beautiful Wings embosslits die and adds a bit of extra dimension to the card.


I have totally fallen in love with this beautiful flower image and can see myself using it again and again. It's easy to pick out different parts of the plant with markers to create a multi-coloured image. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes, a sentiment set which really does cover most eventualities!

Ink: Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade, Calypso Coral
Card stock: Very Vanilla, Whisper White, Island Indigo
Other: 2011-13 in-colour markers, Beautiful Wings embosslits die, Postage Stamp punch, stamp-a-majig

    Just knew that you would do something different and beautiful with Fresh Vintage...can't wait to get this set! (Trouble is I LOVE the DSP too....)

    This is such a gorgeous card, love the colours. Now the problem is, do I get the Fresh Vintage stamps or the DSP? Hmmm ... maybe put in 2 orders and get both. Good thing both Australia and England get the same SAB. Helen (Sydney)

    Right on trend with the colours then Vicky, fabulous stamping too :) That stamp punch is calling my name for my wishlist but my fave set is the sprinkled expressions set but then you probably guessed that :)
