Love, Everyday Enchantment and lace

I do like to roll my sleeves up for Make My Monday every week! They have a different theme every month, with weekly challenges based on it, and this month it's 'Romance'. I was very nearly stumped by this weeks theme though - Victorian Romance! It really isn't my style at all! But when I spotted some Chantilly lace ribbon in my ribbon box I had an idea... Come and see:

What do you think? I've made one of my favourite clean and simple cards but the lace and the papers are a very definite nod to the Victorian era. I chose a swirly script sentiment too which ties in with the theme.

I can never get over the contrast between Very Vanilla card stock and Naturals Ivory - it makes me very happy! I used my Heart to Heart punch to produce these fabulous hearts and chose some of the red designs from the stunning Everyday Enchantment designer paper range. This pack is actually free at the moment when you spend £45 or more so, if you were thinking of making an order, now is a brilliant time to do so! (And if you aren't looking for papers at the moment, you can choose your freebie from four gorgeous stamp sets instead - click here to see them all.)

Here's a close up of that beautiful sentiment I mentioned earlier. It's from Teeny Tiny Wishes, a brilliant  set containing no fewer than 24 sentiments to cover every occasion. One of the bonuses about this set is that you can punch them out with the Word Window or Modern Label punches.

This card also fits in rather well with the 'Love and Lace' theme over at The St Lukes' Charity Challenge and Less is More which is looking for cards featuring die cuts and/or punches.

Supplies needed for this card:
Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Riding Hood Red
Card stock: Naturals Ivory, Very Vanilla
Other: Everyday Enchantment designer paper (Sale-a-bration freebie), Heart to Heart punch, Basic rhinestone, Chantilly lace, sponge daubers
I'd be delighted to order any of these supplies for you and can have them delivered to your address in the UK. I am committed to providing excellent customer service and am always happy to help and advise. Just send me an email or give me a call on 01280 820593.
Click here to see all the free Sale-a-bration sets and don't forget to let me know which free Sale-a-bration set or sets you'd like - remember, one item for EVERY £45 spent!

Apologies to any of my customers who have been horrified to read on my Sale-a-bration page that those joining Stampin' Up will have access to the 'Demon Website'. It was my eagle-eyed youngest son who spotted the error. "Don't you think some people might find that a bit scary?" he said. I agreed, although privately thought people were more likely to find it mildly amusing!

Thank you for your visit and I hope you have a lovely weekend.

See you very soon,
