So what's new at Stampin' Up? Come and take a look at some of the things that caught my eye as I turned the pages:
For me, it's all about new stamp sets and I'm so excited about the variety of styles in this catalogue.
This card includes the single stamp World's Greatest (p.32) and the elephant from You're Amazing (p.33). Doesn't it combine well with the For My Family sentiment set (p.138)?! I can't wait to try 'world's greatest husband' and 'world's greatest teacher' - and I bet you've thought of a few yourself!
New to this catalogue are the sweetest little people to colour too:
This little cutie from Greeting Card Kids is my favourite and she's perfect for all sorts of occasions. (And yes, that is the new Northern Flurry embossing folder - and it's definitely near the top of my list!)
The pages of the catalogue are full of the most wonderful ideas and there are useful colour palette suggestions like this one on one of my favourite pages:
These projects feature Daring Adventure (p.104) and Clockworks (p.105) - I can't wait to be let loose with these wonderful new stamp sets!
The gift ideas are truly inspiring too - who wouldn't want to receive this elegant writing set?
Or a beautifully presented little treat like this:
I really want to make these little brooms - and I don't even DO halloween!
Of course, Stampin' Up isn't just about stamps! As well as the basics like ink and card stock there are new tools, new punches - like this gorgeous new butterfly punch which coordinates with the new Papillon Potpourri set...
... and a whole bunch of new accessories for the Big Shot - including stylish storage solutions. There are new embossing folders, framelits and dies - including dies that will cut out, and crease, favour boxes like this absolutely adorable handbag:
The picture shows the basic little treat bag - aren't you just dying to embellish it?! What a brilliant favour for a wedding, or how about hanging them on the Christmas tree for a contemporary feel?!
I can't possibly miss out my favourite new offering in the die department:
Peekaboo dies - how fabulous are these?! I can think of all sorts of ways to use these in my projects, but what a truly wonderful project this advent calendar is - wouldn't it be great to bring this out every year?!
Now, if your wish list is even a quarter as long as mine, you might consider joining my Stampers 6 club. This will enable you to spread the cost of your new goodies over 6 months, but there are lots of other benefits too, including free catalogues, hostess freebies worth at least £25 and the personal touch from me. This has turned into a very long post, and of course I've only mentioned a few of my favourite things, but I hope you're as excited to see all this new gorgeousness as I am! I'll look forward to hearing from you soon and of course will be back tomorrow when I'll be showing you a project made with one of my favourite new stamp sets in the new catalogue.
Happy Monday! (In fact, VERY happy monday!)
