In love with Calypso Coral!

I've realised that firstly, I adore Calypso Coral and that secondly, being an in-colour it won't be available after July. Aaaargh! I haven't used it half enough! I've used it today to make a little note card to pop into a parcel I was sending to a friend. It was very quick to make as I was rushing to make it to the post office! Come and see:

The background paper is from a pad of card front-sized papers from the spring/summer mini catalogue; it's called Print Poetry and is only £6.25 for 48 double-sided sheets in completely different designs - I think it's such a bargain and fabulous for card makers!

I layered the paper onto a Calypso Coral mat and added the sentiment from Itty Bitty Banners. This set contains six different banner-style sentiments and normally retails for £13.95 (wood mount) or £10.95 (clear mount) but is actually available FREE with orders of £45 or more as part of the Sale-a-bration promotion! I added some coral butterflies and a sprinkling of pearls to finish.

Here's what you'll need to make this card
Stamps: Bloomin' Marvellous, Itty Bitty Banners (both Sale-a-bration freebies)
Ink: Calypso Coral, Early Espresso
Card stock: Very Vanilla, Calypso Coral
Other: Big Shot, Beautiful Wings embosslits die, Basic Pearls, Bitty Butterfly punch, Print Poetry designer paper stack
I'D BE DELIGHTED TO ORDER STAMPIN' UP ITEMS FOR YOU AND HAVE THEM DELIVERED STRAIGHT TO YOUR ADDRESS IN THE UK. I'M COMMITTED TO PROVIDING EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND AM ALWAYS HAPPY TO OFFER HELP AND ADVICE. TO PLACE YOUR ORDER, JUST SEND ME AN EMAIL OR GIVE ME A CALL ON 01280 820593.
• Add a free Sale-a-bration item from this list for every £45 you spend!

I hope those of you that were celebrating mothers day yesterday had fun. My husband went away to spoil his mother and left me to the tender mercies of my three children but I have to say their mercies were very tender indeed! I wasn't permitted to get out of bed until I'd opened some beautiful cards and gifts and breakfasted on some delicious and rather beautifully presented bacon and eggs. My children really are thoughtful and lovely people and I am very proud indeed of them.

I'll be back tomorrow with some more crafting fun and I hope you can join me then.

Your kids have your eye for design for sure, your breakfast tray looks fit for a Queen. I bet the bacon and egg tasted all the better for being cooked by someone else :)
