The stamp set I used is called Sweets for the Sweet which contains some gorgeous lollipop/sweet images along with a variety of windmills and these candy-cane-style sticks. The pink and white colour scheme reminds me of marshmallows!
Whenever I see these kind of windmills I think of someone jumping up and down shouting 'woohoo!' (please tell me I'm not alone!) and so I think they're just right to celebrate a new baby. These were stamped in yummy Strawberry Slush and centred with the fabulous new love of my life: Candy Dots.
Here's what you'll need to make this card
Stamps: Sweets for the Sweet, Embellished Events
Ink: Raspberry Ripple, Strawberry Slush
Card stock: Whisper White, Pink Pirourette
Other: Scallop border punch, Gingham Garden washi tape, Neutrals candy dots, Stamp-a-majig

Isn't it fun to make baby cards?! When my new Stampin' Up catalogue arrived, my youngest son curled up on the sofa with me to have a look at the new offerings. When he saw the baby image in the Sweetest Gift stamp set he frowned. "Babies don't do parachute jumping!" he said disapprovingly!
Thank you for visiting me today. I shall be back to blogging regularly again now so I'll be back on Monday. Hope to see you then,
Hi Vicki! Missed you! Love your happy baby card-the papers are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHi Vicky, Good to hear you've had a lovely couple of weeks break to relax and recharge. Gorgeous baby card (without any sign of a baby), those little windmills look terrific. Helen

Welcome back, Vicky! And you are back with a delightful card, I love those windmills. But no, I'm not jumping up and down saying "woo hoo", that really is just you.... Ha! Tell your son that babies would love to parachute jump, it's just that their dull parents tend not to let them. xxxx
