This numbers paper from the range sprang to mind when I was first considering what to make, and from there it came together very quickly.
Die-cut numbers on a label cut with the decorative label punch are an effective way to bring attention to a special birthday. I always love Cherry Cobbler with the black and cream of these papers.
Here's how to make this card:
- Cut an A4 piece of Very Vanilla card stock in half vertically. Score and fold in half to make a card base.
- Cut a 9cm x 13.5cm piece of the numbers designer paper. Sponge the edges with Sahara Sand ink and glue to the card front.
- Cut a 9cm x 1.5cm piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock and stick across the numbers paper.
- Cut two labels using the decorative labels punch - one out of Basic Black card stock, the other from Very Vanilla card stock.
- Take a scrap of Cherry Cobbler card stock and, using the Timeless Type sizzlits dies, die-cut the numbers you need. Stick them to the Vanilla label.
- Stamp a sentiment to the left of the numbers using Basic Black ink then sponge the edges of the label with Sahara Sand ink.
- Glue the Vanilla label onto the black one and attach it to the Cherry Cobbler band using dimensionals.

If you're a regular reader of my blog, you may know that my sister was 50 on the same day as my father was 85! What a celebration! I thought I'd just show you a glimpse of her card too:
This is just a peek because I used her telephone number and I'm sure she wouldn't thank me for plastering that all over the internet! The reason I used her phone number is that I noticed it had the number 50 in it! I printed 'It's just a number' onto a card base using my computer, masked off an area and sponged a band across it, then added numbers die-cut from Springtime Vintage paper. The 50 was cut in Pretty In Pink card stock and popped up for extra emphasis. I decorated the card with butterflies die-cut using the Beautiful Wings Embosslits die.
Of course this is far too feminine to be shown on Masculine Monday really but, since it could be adapted by using different colours and embellishments, I thought you might like to see it anyway!
Don't forget that if you live in the UK I can supply all you need to make these projects so email me if you'd like anything.
Thank you for popping in today and do come back again tomorrow for more crafting fun!
