Tiny little Sprinkles of Life - Stampin' Up Artisan blog hop

You're in for a treat on today's Artisan blog hop as the whole team is working with one of the most talked-about stamp sets in the new Stampin' Up annual catalogue!

STAMPING THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE
I'm talking about Sprinkles of Life (it's right at the back of the catalogue, inside the back cover, just in case you missed it) and it really is hot, hot, hot! Why? Well, first, every time one of these sets is sold, Stampin' Up donates £2 to Ronald McDonald House Charities; and second, this is an AMAZINGLY versatile stamp set, with trees that can be a cakes or clouds, baskets that can be cones or cupcake cases... well you see my point!

WHAT ABOUT THE TINIES?
The set also comes with some tiny little images designed to embellish the main ones, but these can also be used on their own as I've done with these one layer cards. Come and see:

There's a tiny apple and a little leaf cluster in the set and I've used these to stamp borders, divided with lines drawn with markers and a ruler. The 'oranges' are made by stamping in Hello Honey ink with the eraser end of a pencil and adding dots with a Tangelo Twist marker.

My next card uses the tiny flower and the grassy stem images. I drew the lines first with markers and these acted as a guide for the flowers. It was really easy to stamp them straight because this is a clear photopolymer set and you can see where you're stamping!

Here's another border-style card! This time I used the little bird, the flower head on its own, the sprinkles and also my pencil again!

It's really good fun stamping these borders and adding little bits of detail to the images. AND there's a coordinating punch so that you can pop some of those images up if you fancy it! Go on, why not give it a go!

The cards I made for today remind me of some Miffy stickers my husband once gave to my daughter when he returned from a business trip to the US. They are quite clear in my mind but I was staggered when I worked out that it was nearly 20 years ago! Time really does fly by so don't forget to make the most of every single precious moment!

See you tomorrow,
