Hello crafting friends!
Some birthdays are happening this weekend which definitely calls for a crafting session, I think you'll agree!
For the first card, I wanted flowers and a punchy birthday sentiment, so out came Concorde and 9th's Enjoy It All. I have had no cause to regret this purchase I can tell you! Come and see what I made with it:
Some birthdays are happening this weekend which definitely calls for a crafting session, I think you'll agree!
For the first card, I wanted flowers and a punchy birthday sentiment, so out came Concorde and 9th's Enjoy It All. I have had no cause to regret this purchase I can tell you! Come and see what I made with it:
I adore the colours I used on this card - Stampin' Up's Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo and Calypso Coral, with a dash of Granny Apple Green.
I made this sentiment out of three in the set 'Enjoy it all', 'Happy birthday' and 'It's your day' using markers to ink up the individual words. Looking at this photo, it actually hasn't inked up that well - although it doesn't show in real life! I suspect it will work better when the stamps have been conditioned a bit.
There are a variety of flowers and leaves to use with those gorgeous sentiments and I love this two-step rose. Of course I wouldn't have dreamed of stamping those flowers without some ink pads...
... so it's lucky these turned up! Oh this makes me very happy!
AND IN OTHER NEWS
I'm finding myself with a free weekend! Now what on earth should I do with myself?
Should I:
(a) Do a bit of overdue spring cleaning?
(b) Give the dining room a much-needed lick of paint?
(c) Trim the triffids back in the garden?
(d) Spend the entire weekend crafting?
It's a no-brainer really...
So so nice to see you back, have missed your creations and chatter. c
