Stampin' Up's Many Merry Stars for your stars!

Things are really hotting up on the run up to Christmas now and here's another impressive bit of gift wrapping, courtesy of Stampin' Up of course!

Now, who wouldn't want to open a pile of stars on Christmas day?! I used the Many Merry Stars kit to make these - and this kit actually contains all the ingredients to make and embellish 26 of these beautiful star boxes in assorted sizes!

I used some to package up some chocolates for my lovely Stampers 6 club ladies last month and the rest will be used as Christmas decorations - I think they're beautiful!

• If you have a long wish list, you might want to join my Stampers 6 club - I'm currently taking names for a January start. You'll be able to spread your purchases over six months and there are lots of other benefits including at least £25 worth of free goodies, handmade gifts and cards from me, free catalogues, reduced postage. I very much appreciate my club ladies and each parcel is put together with great care.

Never mind the stars, did anyone see the moon last night? I was driving my son to a Christmas party and we just couldn't take our eyes off it - it seemed huge and yellow and we thought it looked magical. I had to look it up when we got home. Apparently (stay with me here!) the moon seems larger when it's nearer the horizon but it's just an optical illusion; the reason it was yellow is because it was shining through Earth's polluted atmosphere. Honestly, science - am I right?

See you tomorrow when I'll be going Christmas crackers! (That is if I'm not too Christmas crackered!)

NEW! Many Merry Stars kit from Stampin' Up!

If you were to ask me what's super-hot at Stampin' Up at the moment I'd have no hesitation in telling you - it's definitely the Many Merry Stars Kit!

Inside the kit is everything you need to make 26 star boxes in varying sizes and includes fabulous embellishments and die cut words.

The only extra thing you'll need is glue to attach the embellishments but the star boxes themselves have sticky strip already applied. They are easy to make and fun to decorate!

There are so many ways to use these boxes:

• Decorate your house with them for Christmas
• Attach string to the smaller ones and hang them on the tree
• Use Stampin' Up's coordinating star framelits to make a window in the boxes
• Stack them in decreasing sizes to make a stylised Christmas tree
• There are 26 boxes and they work brilliantly as an advent calendar!
• Children will love making these boxes in the holidays
• Homemade edibles and other gifts will look fantastic in them!

The boxes don't require any stamping but, if you're like me and get withdrawal symptoms if you aren't tapping a stamp into some ink, you'll be glad to know that there are coordinating stamp sets available. You can use Bright and Beautiful from the Stampin' Up autumn/winter catalogue or Many Merry Stars from the brand new supplement.

And talking of the new supplement, come and have a look through it with me and someone very special:

It's been another hectic weekend but I'm happy today because it's half term this week and that means that I get to spend a bit more time with my super stars!

See you tomorrow with some Christmas inspiration!
