FTL 102 using Circle Circus and Tiny Tags

It's time for another FTL challenge over at Clean and Simple Stamping! Here's the sketch this week:

And here's the card I came up with:

I wasn't sure about the sketch this week but I had a go and, as often happens when you go outside your comfort zone, I really liked what came out! I used Circle Circus (which is a great fall-to set when you don't know what to do...) stamping this large image three times using my stamp-a-majig to position them. The tiny flowers are from the 'hello' stamp in the Tiny Tags set - I coloured just the flower on the stamp with a Real Red marker. The sentiment was centred under the two right-hand circles and the card decorated with bright flowers punched with the Boho Blossoms punch and pierced with a brad.

Supplies
Stamps: Circle Circus, Tiny Tags, Occasional Greetings
Ink: Basic Black, Green Galore
Card stock: Whisper White, Only Orange, Pink Passion, Yoyo Yellow
Other: Boho Blossoms punch, Green Galore brads, Real Red marker

Well, we had an interesting barbecue yesterday. The food was only just ready when the heavens opened so it was all hands on deck to bring everything inside. We ended up sitting in the dining room with the French doors wide open listening to the dramatic downpour, tucking into the delicious food and enjoying the party atmosphere. It was wonderful, and it just goes to show there's more than one way to enjoy a barbecue!

If you've liked today's graphic card, you may like the thank you cards I've designed for my twelve year old son. I'll be showing you those tomorrow so do pop in to see them if you have a moment.
In the meantime, enjoy the rest of your weekend!

  4. Know what you mean about this sketch. I can`t think of anything I`ve got that would fit but you`ve pulled it off with these stamps. Beautifully done Vicky, love the colours.

  5. I like how you stamped the main images in black on white but added tiny pops of vibrant color to really bring this to life. Fun card.

Sounds like your bbq was fun regardless of the weather.

As far as "crumb cake" it's more a matter of making the names cutesy but hard to remember for me. I have to look up some of the names before I type them into my blog or I might change them around (like peach pizzaz and pear parfait - or wait, that's the other way around :-) )
