Thank you cards using Seeing Spots

My eldest son turned twelve last week and needed some cards to write his thank you notes on. He's getting to be quite the young man these days so party balloons or cute animals were out of the question. I thought I'd go for a graphic image instead. Here are the note cards I came up with for him:

The cards were cut from Whisper White card stock to a quarter A4 size and the corners curved using the Corner Rounder. I used the stamp-a-majig, first to position an image from the Seeing Spots stamp set and then to add the sentiment. The 1/2" circle punch was used to cut circles from scraps of designer paper and the 1/4" circle punch to cut plain circles to match and these were adhered to the cards with Tombow.

Here's a close-up:

Supplies
Stamps: Seeing Spots, Basic Phrases
Ink: Bashful Blue, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Taken with Teal, So Saffron
Card stock: Whisper White, Bashful Blue, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Taken with Teal, So Saffron
Other: Corner rounder, designer paper, 1/4" and 1/2" circle punches

TIP: I'm a huge fan of Tombow as it's very strong, easy to slide into exact position and excellent value for money. My only gripe with it was that if you got any on your card it would be ruined... Well here's the answer: I've just bought the Adhesive Remover and I'm happy to report it works brilliantly. I used it to remove the marks from a remodelled scrapbook page I hadn't been quite happy with. Tombow and the Adhesive Remover  cost £2.75 each and last for ever and ever (well perhaps that's a very slight exaggeration...)

Hope you all had a great weekend.
I'll be back tomorrow with a card using Tiny Tags - one of the sets that's 20% off this month.
Hope you can join me!
