This blue is Marina Mist - isn't it divine?! Look at how well it contrasts with Cajun Craze. And have you seen the flower?!!! It's made with the new and exciting Fancy Flower punch. I hope you like it as you'll probably be seeing rather a lot of it in the next week or so!
Here's how to make this card:
- Cut a piece of designer paper 14.8cm x 4.8cm. Mount it on a piece of Cajun Spice card stock 14.8cm x 5.3cm. Attach to a Marina Mist card base.
- Using an Early Espresso marker, colour the word 'congratulations' from the Perfect Punches stamp set and stamp onto a piece of Cajun Spice card stock. Trim it to 0.5cm and add just below the panel on your card.
- Now make the flower: punch a flower with the Fancy Fower punch and run it through a crimper loads of times to break down the fibres. Now you should be able to carefully peel the flower apart so that you end up with two flowers that have a soft, suede feel to them. Layer them together with glue. Now cut out a 3/4" circle with a punch and sponge the edges of it. Use to make a flower centre.
- Attach the flower to the card front with a dimensional.
Supplies
Stamps: Perfect Punches
Ink: Certainly Celery (for sponging)
Card stock: Marina Mist, Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie
Other: Fancy Flower and 3/4" circle punch, Early Espresso marker
