Gift wrapping using the Music Notes wheel

Today I want to show you a gorgeous addition to the Stampin' Up catalogue - the new Music Notes wheel (think there should have been a drum roll in there!) Now, if you don't have this yet, you might want to order it now! For £6.50 you get the wheel and for £4.50 you get a black ink cartridge to put in it so that you can wheel away without having to re-ink; if you don't already have the handle for the wheel, they're only £3.25 - which means you're all set with your gift wrapping for pennies - and it's great for cards and scrapbooking too! Come and see what I've been doing with it:

This is a bag-a-lope (see yesterday's post for instructions) which can be decorated in seconds using the wheel. I added handles to this one with the 1/8" taffeta ribbon in Marina Mist. The tag has been made using the amazingly useful tag punches and decorated with flowers cut using the Boho Blossoms punch and some shiny silver brads. I attached it to one of the handles with the indispensable elastic cord which comes in silver or gold. Here's a close-up of the tag:

It's easy to get a different effect by adding different coloured accessories. Here, handles made from Rich Razzleberry 1/8" taffeta ribbon give a dramatic feel.

Along with this gorgeous, romantic looking flower.

These flowers are so easy to make - here's how:
  • Use the scallop circle punch to cut out five Rich Razzleberry scallops.
  • Wet them down with water
  • Screw them up then unfold them gently.
  • Layer them together, pierce a hole through all five and secure with a brad.
  • Arrange the ruffles and leave to dry.

The Music Notes wheel has your Christmas wrapping covered too!

This is a scrunched up piece of brown parcel paper, wheeled with Music Notes and secured with the gloriously festive Real Red satin ribbon. I attached a gift tag stamped in Cherry Cobbler with a stamp from the Gifted set - and there we are! Quick, simple, effective and handcrafted! And with only eight weeks to go until Christmas day...!

If you'd like to order the music wheel - or anything else for that matter! - do click here to drop me an email. I'm always very happy to help. And if it's ribbon you're after, there are two special offers available - click here for details.

Thank you for visiting me today, I really appreciate the time you spend here.
Tomorrow I'll be back with more bag-a-lope inspiration. Hope to see you then.
Enjoy your day,
