A non-stamping autumnal ribbon card!

Are you joining in with the Less is More challenge? This week Chrissie and Mandi have set themselves quite a challenge - to get 1000 entries! They're asking for any CAS cards - and here are a couple more from me! (You'll need to scroll down to the next post for the second card.)

While I was having a good old sort out of my ribbons the other day I spotted this really gorgeous colour combination:

I love the way these 1/4" grosgrain ribbons look next to each other - and it makes a great background  for a floral focal point!

I made the flower by punching a shape from Rich Razzleberry card stock using the Fancy Flower punch, cutting a spiral into it and rolling it up like an ordinary rolled flower. It's secured with glue. When it was dry I stuck two of my large self-adhesive pearls together to make a spherical one and carefully glued it into the centre. The flower is resting on foliage cut with my Little Leaves die - this little chap is an absolute bargain at £4.95 and has quickly worked his way onto my 'indispensable' list!

Supplies needed for this card:
Stamps: None! Not even a sentiment stamp (although I might add a sentiment later...)
Ink: None - what am I thinking?!!! I'll be getting withdrawal symptoms soon!
Card stock: Rich Razzleberry, Very Vanilla textured card stock
Other: 1/4" grosgrain ribbon in Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive, Basic Pearls, Little Leaves die, Big Shot
You can buy any of these supplies from me and I can have them delivered to your address in the UK. Just send me an email or give me a call on 01280 820593. Click here to view the Last Chance List - full of stamps and accessories, some at up to 40% off! These items are available only while stocks last - and some have sold out already!

Oh dear, my youngest son is a poorly pudding again! Yesterday morning, I gave him paracetamol to bring his temperature down and settled him on the sofa where he spent the morning looking through my scrap books. It was obviously too much for him as he conked out in the afternoon, but when he woke up the first thing he said was: "I really love your scrapbooks mummy. You should do more of them." I am not kidding! He really said that! Definitely the best incentive I've ever had!

Thank you for visiting me today. If you liked today's offering, don't forget there's another autumn ribbons card if you scroll down!
