There are all sorts of beautiful papers in this set and I adore this understated leafy burgundy pattern. I sponged the edges with Whisper White craft ink and added a pierced strip of Bravo Burgundy card stock and a little thank you embellishment.
You can see it more clearly in this photo: the thank you sentiment from Petite Pairs has been cut out with a circle punch and popped up over the Christmas image from Perfect Punches.
Oh dear, you'll have to forgive me for this appalling photo! The ribbon doesn't completely obscure the sentiment in real life I promise! Don't you love the gorgeous blue and white paper though? It's a dream to stamp over too - I've used the stunning flourish from Everything Eleanor in Night of Navy ink and added a little faux stitching round the edge.
The large tag shape from the same stamp set makes a wonderful focal point for all sorts of projects and looks great as a tag to hang off a gift bag too! I stamped a flowing sentiment from Thank You Kindly onto this one and embellished it with Crumb Cake seam binding before attaching it to the card front with dimensionals.
The Paisley Petals designer paper pack contains gorgeous florals as well as the more subtle papers and this is one of my favourites! I loved the effect of it on Basic Grey card stock.
I picked out the Burgundy of the flowers and added some card stock strips in the same colour - and I was so pleased with the Perfect Punches embellishment of the first card that I've used it again!
Here's a little parcel I included with this card. Making wrapping paper is a great pleasure and it's easy to match up colours because all Stampin' Up products have been designed to coordinate - from inks and card stock to designer paper and embellishments! In fact I wish I'd had the stamp set that matches the designer paper because I would have used it for this!
Supplies needed for these cards:
Stamps: Petite Pairs, Perfect Punches, Thank you Kindly, Everything Eleanor
Ink: Bravo Burgundy, Night of Navy, Marina Mist, Whisper White craft ink
Card stock: Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Basic Grey
Other: Paisley Petals designer paper, scallop circle punch, 1 1/4" circle punch, seam binding, stamp-a-majig, piercing tool and mat pack

When my daughter turned 16 a couple of weeks ago, she drafted a CV and went round our local town handing it out to all the local businesses and asking if they had any work. I am so proud of her for having the get-up-and-go to do this and by the next day she'd been offered waitressing work by one of the hotels. This week we took a trip to my bank to open an account for her earnings. The bank advisor spoke earnestly about bank security measures and laid great emphasis on responsibility, so it was with a sort of fascinated horror that I learned that my daughter had left her handbag in the bank...
How on earth the end of the week has arrived I've no idea! I am all behind and my children are all a bit wistful because I haven't made them advent calendars - especially since they've seen my friend Caroline's gorgeous advent tree:
How gorgeous is this?!!! Hop on over to Caroline's blog to see how she made it, and check out her extraordinary site - she has wonderful Christmas gift ideas too! Hmmm... I think I know what I'll be doing tomorrow!
