Speedy Season of Joy card

Good morning! I'm rushed off my feet this week and so I needed to make the speediest card ever for today! Come and have a look:

What an amazing stamp this is - yes it's just one stamp! It's from the Season of Joy stamp set and you'd be surprised how versatile it is: It looks wonderful embossed in silver or gold, it's brilliant stamped in black or grey on Crumb Cake with some of the elements picked out in metallics, gorgeous in all red with rhinestone embellishments... well the list is endless! But one of my favourite things to do with it is to stamp a panel with a multi-coloured image - so quick and easy with markers! - and pop it up onto a card base with dimensionals. (I realise this isn't showing up in the photos but whoever said the camera never lies was lying!)

Here's a close-up and you can see that I've literally scribbled the colour on! I wish I'd taken a few extra seconds to highlight the centres of the snowflakes and poinsettias with darker markers but hey ho! there just don't seem to be enough hours in the day at the moment! But anyway, whether you've got the time for extra highlights or not, there's no denying this is a design for those moments when you need a card right now!

Supplies needed for this card:
Stamps: Season of Joy
Ink: Markers (I used Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie, Marina Mist and Wild Wasabi)
Card stock: Whisper White
Other: Dimensionals
I'd be delighted to order any of these supplies for you and can have them delivered to your address in the UK. I am committed to providing excellent customer service and am always happy to help and advise. Just send me an email or give me a call on 01280 820593.

Now I'm going to shamelessly blow my own trumpet so please bear with me! I've had such a lovely week this week which started with being asked to be guest designer at Make My Monday; yesterday I discovered I'd been picked as one of the colour Courtiers over at ColourQ with this card; and today I heard that this card had been chosen as one of the runners up at St Lukes Charity Challenge! I love making cards (as you might have gathered) and I'm chuffed to bits if anyone else likes them - so a great big thank you to everyone involved for making my week!

Tomorrow I'm planning to show you a card that is (so far) my favourite Christmas make this year so I'd love it if you have time to pop in and take a glance.

Hope to see you then,

As for today's card it really makes me want to add some markers to my stash. At the moment I only have Copics which don't work for this technique. SU markers are now officially on my wish list!
