There are some stunning images in the lovely Fruit and Flowers set - like this lovely flower and leaf cluster. Stamping twice before re-inking and turning the stamp round helps to make the flowers look part of a group and less like one stamp.
I've chosen in-colours for the slightly retro-style card - Lucky Limeade, Wisteria Wonder, Island Indigo and Poppy Parade - and I love them together!
Supplies needed for this card:
Stamps: Fruit and Flowers (available 4th Jan), Thank You Kindly
Ink: Poppy Parade
Card stock: Wisteria Wonder, Lucky Limeade
Other: Markers, stamp-a-majig
I'd be delighted to order any of these supplies for you and can have them delivered to your address in the UK. I am committed to providing excellent customer service and am always happy to help and advise. Just send me an email or give me a call on 01280 820593.
I've just sent my daughter into hysterics by muttering as I type. I couldn't remember the name of the Island Indigo ink for a minute and was confusing it with Pool Party in my head: "Indigo, Indigo Party, Indigo Pool, Indigo into the Pool..."
Thank you for coming to visit me today. I'm hoping to be able to catch up with some commenting later - and with some of my favourite challenges! See you soon,

Super card, Vicky! It's lovely to see floral cards after all the Christmas ones we've been making, and yours is so pretty:)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty card! Like the way you've scattered them out along the card and in different colors. Just lovely.
ReplyDeleteHope you and your family have a wonderful new year.

Happy new year to you Vicky! I love the way you can take stamps and make them float in a nice swirly way across your card. Every time I try that it looks like nothing but a big mess. The new colors look great together too!
ReplyDeleteLOL, I'm not surprised that your daughter was laughing as you were trying to remember the names of the inks. They do take extreme concentration to get right! I know that my own brain has stopped working on occasion when I'm trying to source my cards. ;)
ReplyDeleteAnyway, your card is gorgeous as always! I love the stamping off technique to get that watercolour look.
Happy New Year to you and your family, Vicky! I hope 2012 is extremely happy and creative for you!
Happy New Year Vicky - that looks a fab new set, I love the way the flowers look like they have drifted onto your card.
ReplyDeleteLove the new blog makeover too - Jacqueline xx
