My starting point for today's card was the Less is More challenge, where Mandi and Chrissie are looking for cards with a one word sentiment, and I've used one of my favourite images from the new spring mini catalogue. Come and have a look:
It's this branch image from the new Easter Blossoms stamp set - isn't it gorgeous?! Stamping it onto Crumb Cake card stock in Soft Suede ink gives a nice twiggy look. I can imagine water colouring the blossom in palest pinks and apricots for spring but today I've coloured them with my white gel pen which somehow feels more wintery.
Poppy Parade is such a great colour for stamping onto kraft card stock as it really pops, and this wonderful scrolled sentiment is a favourite of mine from Thank You Kindly.
Supplies needed for this card:
Stamps: Easter Blossoms, Thank You Kindly
Ink: Poppy Parade, Soft Suede
Card stock: Crumb Cake
Other: White gel pen, stamp-a-majig
I'd be delighted to order any of these supplies for you and can have them delivered to your address in the UK. I am committed to providing excellent customer service and am always happy to help and advise. Just send me an email or give me a call on 01280 820593.
We've been away for the long new year weekend and since I've been back there's been the unpacking and laundry to tackle, taking the Christmas decorations down and giving the house a good once over, not to mention making sure the children have everything ready for their return to school. But yesterday I managed to find time to do a little crafting - and my goodness, how therapeutic it was!
I've really enjoyed using my new supplies from the spring mini catalogue and I'll be showing you some of my creations over the next couple of weeks, so do pop back and have a look. Tomorrow, Three Minute Thursday is back and I have a great quick technique to share with you. Hope to see you then,
Hugs,

This was my favorite stamp from the Occasions Catalog last Spring. I was so disapointed that it didn't make it into the big book. This is like seeing a very well done old friend.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, Vicky! I love it. Glad to hear you had a good weekend away.
ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous Vicky! I love the muted tones with the pop of red.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year

A delicate finish. This card reminds me that it is worth a lot of things to remember and give thanks for not his friends. I think that the person who I feel will also be appreciated. Congratulations to the idea and execution
