Feathers are often shown in light or pastel colours but today's card is all about richer shades - Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry and Blackberry Bliss with a splash of gold!
The gold feather has been cut out with its matching die and accented with a couple of the mini staples - I love these as a subtle embellishment.
The sentiment has been embossed in gold too and just the tips of the feathers added to the bottom of the card. I'm loving the rich colours of autumn but I really must get on with some Christmas creations!

Everything looked so beautiful but it did cross my mind that those decorations would come in very handy for doing the dusting!
Tomorrow is Artisan Blog Hop day - woohooo! There's always so much amazing inspiration to be seen so do make a date to come back tomorrow and don't miss a thing!
very nice card. love the simplicity
ReplyDeleteOOOH LOVELY!
ReplyDeleteThe man in brown just delivered this very set to me yesterday!
Hugs, Sarn xxx
Love the card!
ReplyDeleteDusters?! - I think we need to get you out more. You should be looking at those feathers as feather boas for your ballroom dancing, not as dusters! Just what size are your cobwebs?? LOL
You always make me giggle Ann! You're right, I DO need to get out more and I don't know about the cobwebs (am keeping my eyes averted!)
DeleteAnother lovely C&S card, love those colours too

Love the card Vicky, great design. The feathers at the convention remind me of flamingos:)
ReplyDeleteVal x
ps do all the stamps have a £4.95 postal rate Vicky?
Flamingos are much nicer than dusters Val! Re the stamps - all orders have a £4.95 flat rate delivery charge, no matter how large or small the order. Parcels are delivered to your door via UPS) Hope this helps x
DeleteGorgeous card, as always! I REALLY need to add the feathers to my next order... :) xxx
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful card and love the colour combo, love the idea of using the decorations as dusters LOL.
ReplyDeleteHi Vicky,
ReplyDeleteI am a fellow demo in US and just found your blog! I love all you do-so deserving to be a SU Artisan! I am stumped! What is the little "goldfish" looking see-through tape at the bottom of the card that you stapled through?
Thank you so much for the compliment Nancy! That little detail is gold washi tape from the Watercolour Wonder pack.
