Good things with You've Got This from Stampin' Up!

The sun is beaming down on the heart of England and the flowers are showing off their beautiful colours. What an inspiration for card makers!

To make this simple card, I stamped the crosshatch background stamp in one corner and added the flower over the top.

The petals were coloured with Blushing Bride and Pink Pirouette Stampin' Write markers - they've blended rather well I think :)

I love it when a heatwave sweeps the British Isles - people move more slowly and are quicker to smile. It's not quite so much fun when you're wearing a large fur coat though. No, not me, my friend:

That look is telling me that she is disappointed with me for giving her a bowl of water. 'I can't get in there!' she's thinking. 'Why can't we just go and live in the river?!' Oh yes, Eva has taken up swimming in quite a major way!

See you tomorrow,

  1. Well, that's a lovely floral card and great sentiment Vicky, but Eva has stolen the show today. She really is the most gorgeous colour (when she's not dripping with river water and mud of course!).

  2. What a gorgeous girl Eva is. I suggest you buy her the biggest paddling pool you can find (and lots of towels and a big hairdryer)!!!

  3. Gorgeous card, Vicky. I can't wait for the stamp set to arrive so I can have a play. Hoping Eva and you can find a shady spot to enjoy the weather but stay a little more comfortable x
