Madison Avenue in three minutes!

Before I say anything about today's card, I'd just like to remind you that today is the last day for ordering from the autumn/winter catalogue! Only a few items are carrying over so if there's anything that you really feel belongs in your stash, do email me today!

Now, it's Three Minute Thursday here today so it's time for a very fast card. Madison Avenue, one of the lovely sets you can get free as part of the Sale-a-bration promotion, was out on my desk and within minutes this had happened:

You can get so many looks from Madison Avenue and this particular card seems to be rocking a bit of a peacock feather vibe!

The stylised flower was made by punching out concentric circles and glueing them together slightly off-centre. I love the way it looks with this amazing leaf image.

Such a bold flower needed a bold sentiment and what better set to reach for than Sassy Salutations? I'd stamped my flower and sentiment onto a panel cut slightly narrower than my card base and a quick score to the right and left edges gave a bit of detail and a neat finish.

Here's what you'll need to make this card
Stamps: Madison Avenue (free with Sale-a-bration), Sassy Salutations
Ink: Garden Green, Elegant Eggplant
Card stock: Whisper White, scrap of Elegant Eggplant, Rich Razzleberry, Night of Navy
Punches: 3/4" and 1/2" circle punches, Circle from Itty Bitty punch pack
Other: Simply Scored,  stamp-a-majig
I'd be delighted to order any of these items for you and have them delivered straight to your address in the UK. I'm committed to providing excellent customer service and am always happy to offer help and advice. To place your order, just send me an email or give me a call on 01280 820593.
• DON'T FORGET TO ADD ONE OF THESE FREE SALE-A-BRATION ITEMS FOR EVERY £45 YOU SPEND

My youngest son came home from school yesterday complaining of feeling headachey and cold so after a hot bath he went straight to bed. When the children were small we'd put life on hold and curl up on the sofa together when they were poorly and I remember it being quite a relief to have a bit of a rest myself! If they needed pain relief, I'd give them liquid paracetamol which we always called Fluffy Pink Medicine. Once, I couldn't get the pink stuff and one of them was outraged at the idea of taking Fluffy White Medicine - no matter how much I emphasised its fluffiness, it just didn't have the pink magic required!

See you tomorrow for lots of excitement as the new spring/summer catalogue is launched!
