Hello and welcome to another fabulous blog hop where the Stampin' Up artisan designers around the world are eager to show you their ideas for using the beautiful stamp sets and accessories in the spring/summer catalogue! Are you ready?
FOR YOUR EARS ONLY!
When I saw the Artisan Embellishment kit I gasped - all those precious little pieces and everything so tactile! I particularly loved the little resin roses which reminded me of vintage jewellery... Well, why not?!
And so I came up with this feminine gift set, decorated with the stunning Butterfly Basics stamp set.
Inside the box are the earrings - aren't they pretty? I have lots of jewellery findings in my stash and I simply super-glued the pair of peachy coloured roses to a pair of sterling silver stud posts.
They make a lovely gift, especially presented in a box made with the Gift Box punch board.
In fact I made two, one slightly smaller than the other. I glued a pretty stamped panel to the base of the smaller one, pierced holes in it to hold the earrings, and inserted it upside down into the larger box. Adding ribbon loops first means that you can easily pull it out to take the backs off the earrings and release them.
There's a special punch on the Gift Box punch board which enables you to make an integral closure on the flaps but I chose to leave mine unpunched and close the box with a slip-off band decorated to match the inner panel. I couldn't resist adding some of the feminine rose trim from the Artisan Embellishment kit to top the box along with some punched leaves - the bird builder punch is so useful for quick leaves!

Here's the card, decorated again with Butterfly Basics. Using the same stamp set gives a lovely coordinated look to this gift set.
