Gifts for a Happy Day!

Did you see this gift box and card in Tuesday's post? Well now I've come up with another, more feminine version, with a coordinating card featuring a built-in pocket for a gift card or photo. AND there's a video to show you how to make the box! I need to steady on a bit I think! Come and see:

I am totally in love with Smoky Slate as a base! You'd think it would be quite wintery but it is the perfect partner to all this year's gorgeous spring pastels.

This is such a useful box to have in your repertoire. I used mine for handmade chocolates from our local chocolatier - hence this wonderful sentiment from Happy Day - but it's the right size for chunky jewellery, a fine scarf or perhaps a collection of nail varnishes... Mmm, yes please, if any of my relatives are reading this!

Here's the coordinating card. I ran the Deco Label framelit only halfway through the Big Shot before reversing it out, which made this fabulous shaped top panel. The Happy Day swirl was stamped into the shape again but I added the Smile sentiment this time, dotted with a sweet, pearl-centred punched flower.

You can see the pocket here with a glimpse of something exciting inside...

... it's a Stampin' Up shopping spree with me!!! Do you know someone who would smile and smile if they received one of these gift vouchers? Well, just send me an email to let me know and I can organise one for you to give them in any amount you choose. I always make a pretty voucher holder to present them in at no extra charge too - now that's what I call the perfect gift!

Are you ready for the video tutorial for the Bellyband box? Here goes:

It's still raining and raining. Still, it can't be all bad - my daughter told me that her boyfriend's baby sister likes going out in it as it gives her the perfect opportunity to carry her 'rainbrella'!

Have a wonderful weekend and I'll see you very soon,

All I want for Christmas...

... is YOU, goes the song and, while that would be lovely of course, you with a gift wrapped bunch of crafting goodies would be even better! It's every crafter's dream to get new stash for Christmas but it can be a bit tricky for the non-crafters in our lives to manage sometimes. So how can I help? Well here are four ideas that I think you'll rather like...

Gift Vouchers
With these, your loved ones can choose exactly how much they want to spend, I pop the vouchers in one of these exclusive voucher holders...

... and post it off to them. They can then present it with a flourish on Christmas day, secure in the knowledge that you will be delighted and might even give them a big smackeroony under the mistletoe! You can spend the vouchers all at once if you choose, or a little at a time, and you can even decide when to use them - they're valid for a whole year.

Dream Gift Service
My vouchers are great but imagine opening parcels full of all the gorgeous stamp sets, punches, papers and embellishments you've always wanted on Christmas morning! Well you can! All you have to do is email me or telephone me with the wish list of your wildest dreams, mention my Dream Gift service to your friends and family, then sit back while they contact me with the amount they want to spend. (Tell them I'm quite helpful and definitely don't bite!)

I'll then select items from your list up to that amount and have the order shipped direct to them at home or work, ready for them to wrap up for you!

The gift that keeps giving
Or how about opening a voucher that tells you that you have a six-month membership to my Stampers 6 club? This is such a wonderful gift as you get the excitement of opening a crafty parcel not just once but six times! In each parcel you'll get £25 worth of goodies of your choice (and you can always add extra items if you like and pay the difference.) You'll get great perks too, such as free catalogues, handmade gifts and cards like these...

... not to mention an amazing bonus of at least £25 of freebies at the end of your membership! A six month membership costs £150 (plus a small monthly fee for p&p) - what are you waiting for ? Start dropping hints NOW!
(My next Stampers 6 group starts in January 2013 - click here to add your name to the list.)

The ultimate gift
Wouldn't it be wonderful if someone bought you a starter kit for Christmas? Even if you're not interested in starting a business, Stampin' Up welcomes hobby demonstrators.

Imagine being the first to see the new catalogues and buy all the exciting new products, getting a hefty discount on everything and the chance to get loads of freebies too. You'd belong to a global crafting club with lots of get-togethers and an annual convention to attend if you choose, and you'd become friends with all the other members who share your passion. It doesn't get much better than that!
(Click here if you'd like to join my team straight away.)

If you'd like more information about any of these gift options,  contact me by email or phone me on 01280 820593. I'd love to help make your Christmas the best ever!

Hugs,

Christmas greenery with the Medallion

Thank you so much Chrissie and Mandi for giving us green for this week's colour theme at Less is More - yes I have got one or two Christmas cards left to make (and that is ever so slightly understating it!) Come and see my little green card:

I've used my lovely Medallion stamp for this card and the fab new in colour Lucky Limeade. The ribbon is Old Olive as I didn't have any Limeade, but I'm happy to put any greens together - if it's good enough for Mother Nature, it's good enough for me! It also serves as a useful colour comparison for anyone who thought Lucky Limeade was similar to Old Olive - it really is quite different. You can see how I've 'stamped off' to create variations in the shade of Lucky Limeade - I love making layered backgrounds using this technique.

The tag shape is from Welcome Christmas and is so useful for sentiments. I used the Merry Christmas from Season of Joy and stamped the swirl from the same set which never seems to leave my hands at the moment! I'm a big fan of the Medallion too. It's a huge image and as well as being great for stamping layered backgrounds as I did on my card today, it makes a great contemporary card on its own, is brilliant for stamping wrapping paper and gift bags like this one I made a while ago...

... and popped up gift tags like this one...

Altogether a very useful addition to the craftroom!

Supplies needed for today's card:
Stamps: Medallion, Season of Joy, Welcome Christmas
Ink: Lucky Limeade, Garden Green
Card stock: Naturals Ivory
Other: Garden Green marker, Old Olive 1/8" taffeta ribbon, 1/8" handheld punch, corner rounder, stamp-a-majig
I'd be delighted to order any of these supplies for you and can have them delivered to your address in the UK. I am committed to providing excellent customer service and am always happy to help and advise. Just send me an email or give me a call on 01280 820593.

I have a new Stampers 6 club group starting in January and there are a few places left on it, so if you'd like to have a lovely parcel of crafty gorgeousness to open each month, do contact me as soon as possible. I'm offering places as Christmas presents this year too, presented in my voucher box, which can be personalised. Now wouldn't that be a very special present to open on Christmas morning?! Start dropping those hints now ladies!

This was supposed to be a very short post as I've got heaps to do... so I'd better stop wittering on now or I'll find myself spending Christmas on the naughty step!

Hope you're enjoying your weekend and I shall be sneaking back later to have a look at everbody's green creations! See you then,
