It was really hard to photograph this card, but I hope you can see what's going on here! The card base was made using one of the fabulous Natural Composition speciality designer papers (these aren't actually papers but a warm kraft card stock, clear-embossed on one side in six beautiful designs.) I cut an aperture in the card front, using the Word Window punch, and stamped my sentiment inside - you can see that better in the next photo...
The sentiment comes from a useful new set of two called Essentials costing only £5.95 - I think it's brilliant value for a pair of sentiments I know I'll be using over and over again. The card was finished with a little butterfly, perched on the side of the aperture. I used the new Bitty Butterfly punch to cut one from Creped Filter paper, and layered it over another cut from Crumb Cake card stock. The two gems are Basic Rhinestones that I coloured with a black permanent marker.
Here are some more of those gorgeous speciality papers - aren't they gorgeous?! A photo doesn't do them justice but in real life you just want to touch them!
Here's what you'll need to make this card
Stamps: Essentials
Ink: Stazon black, Whisper White craft ink (to sponge edges of card stock)
Card stock: Natural Composition speciality designer paper (which is really a card stock!)
Other: Word Window, Bitty Butterfly punches, corner rounder, Creped Filter paper, Basic Rhinestones, stamp-a-majig

Oh dear, I think it's high time I got on with some housework now - it looks as if Hurricane Family has swept through the house again! The other day I was talking to my youngest son and noticed that some muddy boots had been trailed through the hall. "I must sweep this floor," I said. "You could grow potatoes in it!" My son, who doesn't have much interest in housework, said "Mmm potatoes!"
I'll be back on Monday and I'll hope to see you then.
